The Open Data Institute Dubai (ODI Dubai) participated at the ODI Summit held yesterday in London.
The CEO of ODI Dubai – Ibrahim Elbadawi spoke at the “Working with governments” session at the summit and shared insights from ODI Dubai’s ongoing initiatives and collaborative activities with governments across the GCC region.
During his speech, Ibrahim launched uaedata.ae – the latest initiative from ODI Dubai which offers a central Arabic portal for rich resources on government data in the UAE. The portal offers information and links to government websites that publish data in the country, all data laws and guidelines and also details of open data training programs offered by ODI Dubai.
In addition, the portal offers educational resources and tools about open data and managing open data initiatives, the entire content of the portal is available in Arabic.
